What is Your Praise Worth to You

Updated: Mar 24, 2023

Today is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Let your light He has placed in you shine bright as the morning star. People will have opinions, but your praise and worship is a personal one.

Do you allow your faith to stand up and out in your daily walk on the job, in your home, with friends, family, strangers, in your business, your conversation, in your situation, etc? Now know there is a time and place for everything. However your character should show there is something different about you. And are you ok with those who disagree and agree? Do you know the difference between having a relationship with God and a religion? How do you incorporate God into your daily life on your journey? Do you know Him for yourself through His son Jesus Christ?

Do you hide who you are on Monday thur Friday, and remember Him on Saturday or Sunday? We are all a work in progress and no one has arrived until you take your last breathe on this side of life. Everyday is a chance to praise God for the things He has done, is doing and yet to do for you. It is easy to focus and see only the negative things in life and dwell on them. How much more could we be encouraged and strengthen if we focus on the positive. Even if all you have is a “Thank you Lord: for waking me up this day, You have kept my mind-children-family-myself another day, You have provided for us/me another hour-day-week-month, I took my first step to…., I messed up but You….”

Your praise is what you are thankful for, do not allow others to quiet it or make you think because it does not look or sound like someone else it does not not mean anything or it is not as important. Your praise is an in-spite of what is going on around me. My reality is I still have something to give God thanks for in my life, for my words are powerful, death and life is in the power of my words I speak.
